Day 7

Subject: [firstname]: You don't know this, but…

Hey [firstname]!

It may sound astonishing, but you DON'T know everything. Nobody does. Even great thinkers like Albert Eisenstein didn't know EVERYTHING about their chosen subject. There's always something new being invented or discovered.

Influential leaders know and accept this.

If you want to be an influential leader, you too must accept that you don't know everything. It is, however, very easy to fill gaps in your knowledge. Simply surround yourself with people who have skills and qualities that you lack, then leverage their expertise for the greater good. If you're a truly influential leader, people will WANT to help you out and share their knowledge and expertise because it helps THEM to feel good, too.

You also need to keep learning!

Leaders invest in learning. This could be formal classroom-based learning, hard data like market research, competitive analysis and customer satisfaction trends, or informal research that comes from asking around. The greater your competence, the more others will respect you and the effort you made to learn about what they do. Influential leaders like Elon Musk find the time to read several books each day and grow their knowledge base. Personally, I would start by reading my guide to becoming an influential leader [link to sales page].

Wow! We've covered a lot of ground over the past few days, but you know what? Within the confines of this short e-course I've barely been able to scratch the surface of this fascinating subject. There's whole bunch of stuff I just haven't had time to include – like how to speak so others will listen, how to make difficult decisions, and how to stay calm when things get tough – to name just a few. I go into much more detail in my guide to becoming an influential leader. I've still got a few copies left, but they're going fast. Grab your copy right now from [link to sales page] and start to spread your influence wide today.

To your success!
